Music for Little Mozarts

The Premier Preschool music program for children 4 - 6.

Early piano lessons give children the basis for lifetime enjoyment of music, whetherthey later want to continue with piano, play in a band or sing in a choir. Studies show that music lessons also help children in many areas besides music:

• Improved motor skills
• Better hand/eye coordination
• Enhanced language skills
• Better grades in math and science
  

Children may start lessons as early as age 4. Classes and private lessons are available.

Music for Elemenatary School Children

For children reading and learning to read, the Hal Leonard piano series offers a solid foundation in music theory along with interesting music kids love to play. Students also begin to learn about music history and different musical styles.

Music for Teenagers and Adults

Teenagers and Adults have more varied interests and needs. I tailor lessons to the individual student, using methods that teach basic music theory quickly. Then we move into learning the basics of chord structure so that students can begin to play favorite and familiar songs from lead sheets and/or by ear, while still learning to read music and play more classical pieces.

I also have methods for adults who played piano as children,methods to help them remember what they learned before and move on from where they left off.
